Indian Journal of Medical Specialities - Publication Fee The Indian Journal of Medical Specialities was started in 2010 by the Indian Journal of Medical Specialities Trust, whose singular aim is to promote medical education and bring out the journal. The journal was published by the Trust for the initial four years and in partnership with Elsevier 2014 onwards. Till 2014, it was published semi-annually (two issues per year) but beginning 2015 the journal is being published quarterly. Beginning 2019, Wolters Kluwer will be the publishing partner for Indian Journal of Medical Specialities. The journal is presently indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) of the Web of Science. The journal issues from 2010 to 2014 are hosted on archives.ijmstrust.in, while Sciencedirect (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/indian-journal-of-medical-specialities) hosts the journal issues from 2015-2018 issues. The journal issues from 2019 onwards are being hosted on www.ijms.in The journal follows a double-blind peer-review policy and had an acceptance rate of 40% for 2017-18. The turnaround time from article submission to first decision is close to 4 weeks. Accepted articles are published online soon after technical check, increasing the visibility of accepted articles and ensuring rapid turn-around time.
